I live in Wrentham avenue, my garden is large and has much potential sadly, I haven't got a clue how to look after a it.
However growing up in provencal kitchens has made me a rather decent cook.
I would love to swap some gardening tuition for cooking tutorials and original recipes. I there anyone who is a keen gardener who could show me how to plan and maintain my garden?

There may be some gardeners without gardens who want to grow veg. Are you interested in someone else gardening with you and sharing the produce? Michael

Of course, I would be very happy for a gardener without a garden to grow veg in my garden in exchange for some guidance on how to look after my garden.
Do you have anyone in mind?

Permalink Reply by jean-marc pierson on July 16, 2011 at 11:39 Gardening : that's how i make my (modest) living ! I am not highly specialized but know the basics
It's too late to sew and plant vegetables for now.... Spring is the key time ! What will be important to do is to prepare the soil in autumn... digging, incorporating plenty of organic matters, compost, manure....
I like the comparison : gardening is like cooking. If you don't know anything, you can easily start by learning how to prepare noodles with butter or other very simple stuff and feed most of your guests. Then, you can refine and refine without any limitations !
I am not interested by cooking lessons... ( question of time lots of others things ... )
I could be interested by..... spell and grammar checks for my writings ( in English I am french) and help with developing my story telling and events organizing to a professional level...

Bon ete!

Are you back ? I have got a lot of stories to rehearse for my next events so I am keen to start as soon as possible... translation and mostly I would like to rehearse the stories I intend to tell and you correct me.
Are you still available for an exchange ?
Permalink Reply by Selina Prager on September 6, 2011 at 7:16 Hi jean Pierre,
Yes I'm back and still available. My children are going back to school tomorrow after a really long summer holiday. I would like to catch up with a few things the rest of the week so is it OK if we begin next week?

Check out http://www.landshare.net/ which connects growers with people who have land to share - there are bound to be people in your area with knowledge but no gardens.
All the best
