Improving our web site icons and group pics

I've been looking at our site and one of the things that's irking me a bit is the mess inside the Groups page - it looks as if all the groups have chosen really weird little scrappy images to…Continue

Hi Viv, I'm happy to help out with some graphic design. I'll send George a message. X

Hi Alejandra and all

This group hasn't really had regular meetings, but maybe with the new ideas generated at last night's open meeting, there will be space for a comms group to meet up again.

Since Chris left the group is looking for help with graphic design in particular.  If you're interested get in touch with George.

I'm happy to do the odd bit of press, see Transition groups letter Willesden & Brent Times maybe others would too!

Hi George,

Sorry, just joined this week so still discovering how this works, but that's really good and handy =)

By the way, when is the group's next meeting?

Alejandra - thanks for posting this.  Please let me know in good time if there are relevant films being shown at the lexi and we would happily promote them to all users using the events page of the website...  you should even be able to put film showings up as events yourself and they will be shown on the front page of the site...  best George

Is the comms group meeting tonight. I won't be able to make it, but I'm still really keen to do some filming around the Harvest Festival and Supper - so I'd like to find someone who is keen to take that on.  Particularly want to do 'Farmer's Tales' with the stallholders from the Farmer's market. Please can it go on tonight's agenda, and anyone interested get in touch with me? Many thanks, George

Can't make 27th at 7.30, but will try to get to future meetings.

Setting up the group is a brilliant idea. I've worked in book and magazine illustration, and have also done a bit of proof-reading.

One of the most well-known local bloggers is Juliette Kingsman at http://park-life.org.

Does anyone know her personally? If not, perhaps it would be good to meet up with her?

Aside from Park Life, who knows some other local bloggers or news outlets we can tap into?
