hi Caren

yes sorry no harvest festival this year - be nice to think that we could get it going again next year.

Do put the events in the Spring up on the Transition K2K website so that everyone knows about them

Might be good to write a Forum Discussion about the Winter Market too?

I think that the Forum page is probably the best place to try to start a general discussion, or else contacting people directly

Speak soon - George

Hi there, it was a shame this didn't happen this year.  As a local community festival/event organiser I would happily see if I can support it happening in the future.  We have plans for a Spring Event in Queens Park and we're also launching a Winter Market in December and a weekly Saturday market in 2013 at The Albert www.thealbert.org.uk.

There's lots of synergy between the community building projects I/we do locally which I think could really support the transitions town movement.

If you this group is interested in doing more please contact me carencan at mac dot com.  Or indeed if there's a better way for me to communicate with anyone in the ttkk community please let me know.

Thanks.

Hi George - further our conversation re: school PA - ideally, it would have at least 4 inputs, mics & stands - if it has fewer mics/stands, I can bring along, but would then need to know the nature of the inputs on the amp - 'XLR' or 'jack'

Anyone around and would like to meet up at the Salusbury Foodstore to talk about what we need to do next for the Harvest Festival next Mon 22nd or Tues 23rd? Any preference for which evening?

I've set up a Doodle Poll so that those interested can say which evenings in the first two weeks of July suit for a first meeting of the Harvest Festival Planning group - I suggest we meet in the Salusbury Foodstore - where we can get something to drink or eat if people want.

Register which dates suit you here: http://doodle.com/a2z5mrnckrynctiv

We've booked the School canteen at Salusbury Primary School for the Festival - during the day on Sunday 9th Oct - ie at the same time as the Farmer's Market. Just to be clear the Harvest Supper (ie the evening party with the barn dance) will be a separate event on the following Saturday 15th Oct.
