Unthinkable Drinkable Brent-Local Wine Tasting & bottling! at Queens Park

January 24, 2015 from 12pm to 4pm
Over the summer a whole bunch of us, led by Paulo, Nicola and Giovanni, made about 200 bottles worth of crowd-trampled red wine from K2K local grapes. It's now time to taste it and bottle it!Come to 101 Harvist Road, at the bottom of the Park to taste it, choose the label, and siphon it into bottles. Bottlers of course get their very own bottle to take home.See More

Wine Making at Queens Park

Wine-making: Sunday 21 September, from 11 am to 4 pm we are going to be making red wine, with our local grapes from round the area, and Italian wine-making skills from Paulo, Nicola etc. Location 101 Harvist Road, NW66HATime: 11 am-4 pmActivities: grape-picking from 4 sites round the park, treading, crushingBring: any other local grapes you might have, the more the better! Queens Park Allotment

Most of the plot is now divided into mini-plots, with individuals each taking responsibility for a numbered mini-plot. 'Garden together' events, where as many members as possible come along are posted on the website regularly. Large tools are provided but please bring your own small trowel, fork and gloves. brilliant - hopefully see you Sunday 16th - I'll be there from 10-12, maybe later. more work on getting produce for the cafe and also the new community vegbox www.fieldtoforkorganics.coop and just general planting and flower gazing :)
