I thought it might appeal to your inner engineer :). I of course would love you to do it as I could find out if it is practicable at no risk to myself :D. If you decide to give it a go let me know as I'd be more than happy to help out with the project. Unfortunately my brother the RAC man lives in Croydon not locally :(.

I now have an OWL borrowed from Queens Park Library (the Westminster one on Harrow Road) for three weeks, though they said that they would not hassle me to get it back, which sounded a litle strange.
We shall see how I get on with it.

Thank you very much for your energy and water saving event.

It was incredibly useful and I hope to be able to borrow a similar electric meter about which I would not have known without the meeting.

Thanks for your message Nick... Sounds great to do a session on all the lifestyle changes/choices that you have made. Do you think that it would be best to do it as an open day/evening at your house so that you can show people round? Or else we could get you to do a talk at another transition event -such as one of the film nights, or we are hoping to have a local architect do a presentation on urban sustainable design soon? Maybe best to do it at your house if you are happy to have people round and then you would be able to show people as well as tell... then we need to think about whether to do it as a daytime event on a weekend or a weekday evening event... do call me to discuss anytime on 07957655750. Also we can think about whether to promote just to KtoK or to a wider transition London audience... Regards George
