Save energy and be healthier and meet some other foodies.  Anyone fancy joining (or starting with me!) a raw food club?? We could meet in the day for a raw food lunch/picnic every so often and swap ideas (everyone bringing a dish). Apart from salads I never prepare raw food and would love to start.  I have ordered a raw food cookbook, but feel rather daunted by the idea of raw food!

Any takers.  (I am thinking weekdays as weekends always seem to be so busy)

Hi Emily - I am into raw food too - especially raw chocolate making!! I was going to have a raw supper club actually - and I know at least one other person who'd be interested who lives in Queen's Park. I went on a raw food course with Saskia at www.rawfreedom.co.uk... very worth doing!
I definitely don't want to buy new machines!! I have juicer and blender and I think you can do loads with that. Shall we try for a supper club. We could go to a different house each time and each bring a course and the recipe...... I have a baby and my husband often works late at short notice, so I may not always be able to make it, but be great to give it a go. Check out the www.rawfreedom.co.uk - you can get some good recipes sent (don't sign up for emails, you get loads). I have a raw cook book you can borrow (says machine free, but still has a chapter on dehydrated stuff). And we can post any good tips here......
Hi Emily
did any of you get to meet up? I'm another local raw foodie - been doing it for 8 years now - no way back that for sure - keen to meet up with local raw'ers if there's still interest to -

Hello --

did you guys ever end up setting up any kind of meeting?  If so, I'd love to be a part of it.  I have a baby as well, so daytime would be easier.  Have been preparing raw food for a few years now in LA and NY, and would love to share and exchange ideas with people here in the UK.

Let me know.  You can contact me via my website: thepickyfoodie.com

Thank you

Gabriela

Hi Emily, I have recently bought a Spiralizer, amazing contraption and totally addicted. It slices up veg into ribbons, or even thinner spaghetti shapes.. I recommend one for the raw foodie in you. Also, mad about making raw chocolate - would definitely be up for a choccie group meeting! Jess
A raw chocolate group sounds great -- count me in any time.

Hi I'd definitely be into a sharing on raw food - however - after almost 9 years high raw at times 100% I have to steer clear of raw chocolate as it takes me just tooooo high!!!!

Hi there

Emily has moved to a rural life in the New Forest- so don't wait for her to get in touch, but do get something going between you - sounds like plenty of interest here
