We're excited to have so many offers of help and interest in this project in just a few days. It's a big, ambitious project so we'll need them all. And looking forward to showing everyone inside the building on Tue 18th at 7pm and meeting new faces. There'll be food and drink on sale too!

Yes, I agree Amandine, when we used to show various films at The Lexi I found them so inspiring. It would be good to restart that energy.

Would it be ok to put a shout out to artists at Kingsgate Wkshops for studio space upstairs at The Corrib?

Talking about film nights, it would be great to show the documentary Demain.

It has been seen by more than a million people in France and probably several millions people across the world now.

Sadly, I don't think that it has found a distributor in the UK yet.

It's shown at the Grafton in Kentish Town on Monday 17th October.

It would be fantastic to be able to show it at the Corrib! Rob Hopkins, the co-founder of the Transition Network, is one of several very inspiring people interviewed by the directors.

Hello everyone,

On the first floor of the Corrib, there is a great space that I'd like to turn into an affordable coworking space.

If you are interested in being a member of such a space, please contact me.

If you are able to help with the running of the coworking space, please get in touch with me.

My email is amandine.london@gmail.com

How about talks on Transition topics?

Film shows is a good idea - projected cine films perhaps.

I'd also like to see local artists show their work, particularly if it relates to the local area.

Workshops on whatever skills people have.

Perhaps an artist in residence.

And a book exchange.

Cant make the 18th but would interested in seeing the space at some point.

I run an artistic promotion company ( http://astartis.com/featured-artists.html or https://www.facebook.com/Astartis-Music-787090074732504/?pnref=lhc ) ...  I may volunteer in the organisation of live events like gigs, comedy nights, open mic etc...

How about Transition suppers where everyone brings a dish? Don't think I'll be around on the 18th but please let me know what happens and suggestions. We definitely should have the next Kaeleigh (sp?) dance there.

I also have experience of drinking in a pub. In fact, I could be described as an expert...

Hi,

I'm happy to help out whichever way i can. I'm an architect with past experience in working a pub/bar also.
