DESCRIPTION:Disco soup\nBoogie-woogie your way to zero waste food! Dis
 co soup is a fun event to raise awareness about food waste. It is orga
 nised by Kilburn residents. The initiative was taken by Thomas Fassnac
 ht at the beginning of the year. Aldi, on Kilburn High Road, agreed to
  donate unsold vegetables and fruits to Thomas and since then other ca
 fés have come on board by donating produce which would otherwise end 
 up in landfill. The unsold produce is collected the day before the eve
 nt. On the Monday, armed with peelers and chopping boards, participant
 s prepare a big community dinner while a DJ is playing some 1980’s m
