DESCRIPTION:Join us this May Day to celebrate the launch of this excit
 ing new project and to find out how you or your organisation can get i
 nvolved.\nThe evening will be chaired by Ed Gillespie, author, Londo
 n Sustainable Development Commissioner and Co-Founder of Futerra.\nO
 ver the next 2 years the Energy Garden team will be supporting communi
 ties across London to transform London Overground platforms and statio
 ns into thriving gardens that will incorporate food growing plots and 
 solar energy providing on-site renewable energy for lighting, water pu
 mps or other small scale station amenities. We also have plans to iden
 tify a larger solar energy site to generate a long-term income for the
  gardens. The gardens will also provide training opportunities and wag
 ed horticulture apprenticeships for young people.\nFrom May 1st we’l
 l be inviting Londoners to tell us which London Overground stations th
 ey’d like to see transformed into Energy Gardens.\nTo nominate your 
 local London Overground station tweet us using #greenmyoverground@Gro
 undworkLONFrom the May 1st we'll also be accepting expressions of inte
 rest from small groups of local residents, commuters or local business
  owners who'd like to work with us to transform their local station in
