DESCRIPTION:A 'wassail' is an old rural custom of blessing and singing
  around apple trees in mid-Winter, in the hope of bringing on a bumper
  crop!Here in Willesden it's a little bit different:Our shopkeepers an
 d community activists are our apple trees - they give so much and dese
 rve our support!The streets we walk on are our orchards - and we can f
 ind ways to be joyful and share community with everyone who shares the
 se roads and pavements.The Willesden Green Wassail began in 2010, took
  a year off in 2015, and now the new Library at Willesden Green has pl
 anted two crab apple trees for the Wassail, to replace the ones that w
 e previously planted in front of the old building.So, come celebrate!B
 e entertained along the way by incredible spoken word artists, singers
 , and by each other, bringing warmth even in the depths of Winter!Suit
 able for All Ages.Meet at Willesden Green Tube Station at 2pm for a 2.
