 \n\nWHEN & WHERE?\nSunday 17th January, 14.30-16.00.\nMeet at Willesde
 n Green Tube* for a prompt 14.30 start.\nThen walk with us down the Hi
 gh Street and be entertained by professional performers at designated 
 stops along the route until we plant a brand new crab apple tree at Wi
 llesden Green Library, chant an ancient wassail chant, and recover in 
 the warmth of a cosy location nearby.\n\n\nWHAT'S HAPPENING?\nWassaili
 ng (from 'Wassail' - a toast to 'Good Health!') is an ancient English 
 tradition of blessing fruit trees in Midwinter, with the hope that nex
 t Summer's harvest will be a good one. As Willesden Green is bursting 
 with more independent shops than orchards, we are using the Wassail to
  celebrate our local shopkeepers, and hope that we all have a good 'ha
 rvest' after clambering out of the cold heart of the credit crunch\n\n
