Jonathan Goldberg, who took this photo of our stall, won first prize in our competition to guess the number of locally harvested bayleaves. He guessed 275 and there were 277 in the jar. The other prize winners were:  Carol Foster, Ashika Patel, Sean Mendis and Sultan Ali.  Many thanks to Giovanna Dunmall for donating the books, and congratulations to all.

It was great to meet local residents and we had quite a lot of new sign ups. The main issues raised by those stopping at the stall were around:

the gradual erosion of public space by new building work

lack of green space in Willesden

front gardens being paved over

lots of people had bay leaves bushes/trees in their gardens

fruit harvesting

We met someone who knew of bee keepers in the area.  Maybe we can arrange a visit...
