It was incredibly useful and I hope to be able to borrow a similar electric meter about which I would not have known without the meeting.

I now have an OWL borrowed from Queens Park Library (the Westminster one on Harrow Road) for three weeks, though they said that they would not hassle me to get it back, which sounded a litle strange.
We shall see how I get on with it.

I thought it might appeal to your inner engineer :). I of course would love you to do it as I could find out if it is practicable at no risk to myself :D. If you decide to give it a go let me know as I'd be more than happy to help out with the project. Unfortunately my brother the RAC man lives in Croydon not locally :(.
