We need to talk about carbon
Westminster City Council are setting up a Carbon Conversations group in Queens Park
Over a series of six sociable meetings, 8 participants will discuss environmental issues in a fun way including games and discussions along with the serious stuff. The course takes individual perspectives into account as well as the environmental facts to help people take practical steps to reduce their carbon footprint in a manner that reflects their own lifestyles. There is no lecturing or telling you what to do. People on the course typically reduce their footprint by ~50% and make significant savings in energy bills.
The course is free and takes place on Monday evenings from 7-9pm at the Beethoven Centre from 13th September to 17th October 2010.
More information is available here along with a joining form
