£1000 available for Kensal to Kilburn community project ideas

Transition Town Kensal to Kilburn (TTKK) is inviting local residents to take part in a competition this spring.

Our volunteer organisation has created three grants - one £500 grant and two £250 grants.

To enter the competition, participants need to fulfill the following criteria :

- live in the Kensal to Kilburn area,

- submit an idea for a community project that would benefit residents…

Bike bus

We run a bike bus every Friday during term time between St Gabriel's Church in NW2 and West Hampstead (West Hampstead Primary School and hopefully Emmanuel School soon). Some of us ride all the way to North Bridge House School in Regent's Park. It's a safe, fun and green way for children to go to school. Pick and eat a fresh salad growing wild in Kilburn. Queens Park Day - apple pressing stall at Queen's Park - between the Cafe and the Zoo
