A little outside the bounds of Kensal to Kilburn, but no doubt of interest to many members of the K2K Group!

Next door to Hampstead Railway Station is a neglected waste land. Local traders, residents and visitors are donating money to the newly created World Peace Garden Trust to transform it into a World Peace Garden for the community.

Mitzvah Day is a nation-wide event focused on actions not funds. Teams of people of all ages will be involved in projects across the country, helping to relieve hardship and poverty, contributing to environmental conservation, and bringing a little joy where it is needed.

This year we (Moishe House London) have taken on one of the JCC's Mitzvah Day projects, to work on the World Peace Garden Camden, next to Hampstead Heath Station.

We will be clearing and sprucing up the garden with some new plants so come with a spade if you can.
