A Spanish artist from Madrid will be visiting.  He is working on a creative sculpture project in wool at the Slade School of Fine Arts in May. He has been awarded a scholarship for the project by the Joan Miró Foundation and "Lanas Stop" Wools of Spain are sponsoring him by providing all the wool.

'Spinning Out Time' is going to be an interactive project to be exhibited in a well-known gallery in Valencia and also in New York. 

He is looking for people who know how to knit and/or crochet, basic stitches is all he needs, and who would be interested in taking part in the project by collectively producing a "sail" to represent our group. He would provide all the wool and the idea is to produce as many "sails" as possible in the time available."
