Want to learn to knit? or to improve your knitting skills? Shira Geva reckons she can help new knitters to make their own presents in time for this Christmas!!
As part of our SkillSharing series of workshops, Shira is keen to share her knowledge of knitting, recycling off-cuts of old yarns and ideas for gifts with others from Transition Kensal to Kilburn. The workshops will be held in the Salusbury Foodstore/Deli on Salusbury Road, and promise to be a regular, informal and relaxed event. Shira will run this workshop every tuesday evening leading up to Christmas to help people to make their own presents.
It'll also be an opportunity for others to swap their ideas and materials/yarns.
Please bring your own knitting needles and some yarn.
From 7.30pm till 10pm but don't worry if you can't join at 7.30 - it won't be a formal lesson, Shira can get you started when you arrive. If you can't make one week, don't worry you can always start the next week.
Do you have a skill you would like to share with others? or is there a skill you would particularly like to learn? Please get in touch with ideas for future SkillSharing Workshops.
Workshops planned for the New Year:
- How to make Falafel
- How to use the Transition website
