Transition Town camp 8-10th October
Calling anyone that is already involved in the Transition Town movement or anyone who would like to be....... We are hosting a weekend gathering to learn from each other and inspire each other to create the kind of world that can sustain itself and support local communities. We have many talks confirmed including an introduction to Transition, 2012: the awakening and unravelling, seed saving, avoiding burnout and a talk about Bees by Heidi Herrmann and Michael Kientzler from the Natural Bee keeping trust. Workshops include bycycle maintenance, Fungal foray, fire lighting and helping to build an earth oven. We have plenty to keep the kids busy with nature awareness, bushcraft, magic workshops, tall trees story time and pizza making in earth oven. By night we will hang out around the camp fire with music and stories or in the yurts if rain (although it's never rained in our 3yrs of hosting this great event!) and enjoy a sauna to warm our souls.
All food is organic, local and is included in the ticket price.
