Big Dig this Saturday with free refreshments and lunch!

 

Together with Capital Growth and Queens Park Cafe we're able to supply free refreshments and lunch to (a limited number) of volunteers to give us lots of energy to get stuck in and dig.

 

Capital Growth have given us money for this and the Cafe are also making a kind donation of £50 towards the project.

 

There's lots to do...

• DIG! ground needs digging over and manure/compost to dig in
• Plant - berries, herbs and flowers to plant
• Transplant - some plants need relocating
• Pinch plants! - will check with Mick the manager but thought it would be good to grab a few of the comfrey plants dotted around the park and bring them to the growing area
• Have lunch, chill out

 

We have gloves/tools etc., so just bring yourselves :)
