"ECONOMICS OF HAPPINESS" SCREENING
We all agreed that the recent screening was very successful with about 35 people attending. It was also heartening that 2 or 3 St Mungo's residents attended. The majority of those who attended agreed with the sentiments of the film. Some of us felt that the "process of change" presented in the film may have appeared too simplistic. We all agreed that the venue was excellent and that we will use it again. About half who attended bought refreshments. However we still broke even. Many who attended were from KTK and saw the film advertised on the KTK site. One person came via the Seedling Swap. One person who attended, Charles, is interested in joining the core group but cannot come to this meeting. Another person is going to hire the film to show to a Quaker Sustainability Group. We also have 7 new people signed up on our mailing list. Brian has seen a very good BBC film and will send round the link. All in all a very successful event!!
GREEN COFFEE MORNING
Marjory said that 3 people attended. May consider having again later in the year but not before due to low attendance.
MEETING WITH BIODIVERSITY OFFICER

FUTURE EVENTS
Fruit Harvesting
Viv and Michael Stuart have compiled a plan of the meeting. This will involve dialogue, Jonathan Goldberg's short film, background, why, where the fruit goes, practicalities and wider picture. Viv will send a link to Jonathan's film. Plus discussion to start a harvesting group, with possible help of facilitator who came to K2K harvesting meeting. This is also our first anniversary so we could make it a mini celebration. Marjory has some fruit in her freezer from last year's fruit harvesting and will make apple muffins to sell. Viv is also keen to make elderflower cordial. Possible dates: 28 June, 2 July. If St Mungo's is not available on those dates Marjory will check if we can book the Rising Sun for 2 or 3 July. Viv to check dates with Michael S and venue and confirm.

Marjory has been in contact with Vincent the bread maker. Sunday 22 July has been provisionally agreed for the workshop although St Mungo's are not so hopeful that their new oven will be installed by then. There will be 8-10 places with two places being offered to St Mungo’s Residents. It is anticipated that the workshop will be popular with an email being sufficient advertising.

VISIT TO SARAH's ALLOTMENT
Sarah has offered to organise a visit/tour of her allotment, probably, in July. Sarah will liaise with her allotment secretary to confirm if this is possible and if so how many people could attend. The numbers would be limited and advertising of the event would reflect this. Also not all of the details would be posted i.e. the location would only be disclosed to those who have booked and confirmed attendance.
