WHAT IS THE WILLESDEN GREEN WASSAIL?
The Willesden Green Wassail re-appropriates an ancient English Winter tradition still practiced in some rural parts of the UK, where communities party in their apple orchards in the hope that the trees will grow strong and healthy.
So we wish the same for our urban community.
And rework an ancient custom for city streets and local shopkeepers (altogether now: "Ohhhh Khan's Halal Butcher we Wassail Thee!")

Founded by storyteller Rachel Rose Reid and featuring local talents, community groups, bakers, butchers, librarians...and you!
