Kilburn cycling events 2010 – Cycletastic

All events are free and open to anyone of any age


Bike checks and repairs
Free bike fixing and some explaining for those interested. Donations taken. Parts sold for below shop prices
· Sun June 27, 10am-2pm.
Queens Park Farmers Market, Salusbury Primary School, NW6 6RG
· Sun July 11, noon – 4pm
Kilburn Grange Park, off Kilburn High Road, by Black Lion 274 Kilburn High Road, NW6 2BY
· Sun July 18, noon-3pm
Outside Charteris Road Sports Centre in Kilburn. Part of The Big Lunch


Try a bike!
For those who’ve never ridden a bike or are rusty and unconfident. Qualified and patient instructors will give you a chance to try cycling in a safe space. One-to-one support. All ages very welcome. Proof of identity or a deposit needed to ride a bike.

Kilburn Square outside Argos


Local bike ride and Big Lunch street party
Tour the other local Big Lunch street parties by bike. A slow ride suitable for both less experienced and experienced riders. Up to 3 miles. Fully marshalled, safe and suitable for all ages though riders must be able to control their bikes. For under 18s – a consent form is available on the day or must be accompanied by an adult.
