We started re-organising the site yesterday, in the wake of the removal of the privet hedge. Alonso has taken on one of the original raised beds (but is happy to share it). Miko and Maggie have taken on the second raised bed.

We pegged out two new beds, one for Pearl and one for Ben and Amandine, who were also there. There is room for more beds and we are looking into getting hold of some wood to turn the pegged out plots into raised beds.

If you would like a bed of your own and and are willing to make a commitment to looking after it, please post a request here soon as you can.

There will still be lots of communal growing and you don't have to have your own bed in order to be involved. We will be growing herbs, flowers, fruit trees, fruit bushes and runner beans together.

The next gathering will be next Sunday, March 5th, at 2.00 p.m.

Hope you can come along! Miko and I look forward to seeing you there.  Maggie

Hey Maggie,

Sorry I couldnt make it at the weekend, I had a charity event to attend and a selection of unorganised colleagues to coordinate!

I would like to put in a request for a bed and will happily commit to it as well as assit in all other areas and with other peoples plots.

Looking forward to the 5th

Chessie

I met Nilufer yesterday who said she would like a plot, although she will be away for a while, so maybe her plot could be shared and worked communal until she is back?

Hi guys, I've just found out I'm going to be away until the 6th so wont be able to make Sunday. Is this going to cause a problem?

Will peg you out a plot on Sunday, Chessie, and see you next time.
