Hi Candida, So glad your workshop went good. Sounds like you will have lots of info to pass on to miko (and me). Next wkend it is then. Have you a pref. Sat or Sun. or shall we leave it open. Take care, Pearl
I was chatting with Michael at the food group and mentioned I'd seen you at the Iceland film. I told him that you'd lived in Cuba for a number of years and he joked that you obviously only live in places that start with a 'k' sound; Columbia, Cuba and Kilburn. bw David
Hello Candida, Sorry you can't go to the seed swap, but I'm sure you will love your forest gardening course. The beds, well could be expensive. If you can get the wood and compost, I can put them together. If Miko doesn't come up with something and I'll see hi m at the swap, we could talk further on this. Sorry I can't be of more help. After talking with you and seeing your garden, I was quite looking forward to it too. March 10 is OK for me. I'll leave it up to you. Enjoy your course. Take care, Pearl
Hi Candida, Who wouldn't want to get outside in this weather and it's getting warmer this wk. Weds. I cannot do as I have a yoga class and Miko must take preference. Mon. and/or Fri would be better for me. Will parking be a problem during the wk? Do they allow Residents' Friends? I emailed Miko about the boards and compost and will let you know. We could prepare the ground now. Take up the "Hebe" shrub, mark out ground for beds and dig up, weed, etc. When we do get boards, the work will be mostly done. I thought too, you could put runner beans (now you mention beans) at the back of the beds along the fence. Bye for now, Pearl
PS Are you going to the Food Group meeting Wed. evening? They are having a seed swap.
