Event Description

Celebrated author Philip Pullman comes to our area on the second day of the landmark court case that six Brent Libraries, including Kensal Rise, threatened with closure are bringing against Brent Council in the High Court this week. Philip Pullman will talk about writing, temptation, greed, libraries and his novels, including the His Dark Materials trilogy and his new book, The Good Man Jesus and the Scoundrel Christ. Tickets £10 from Queens Park Bookshop (0207625 1008) or on the door. Doors open 6.30pm.
