£1000 available for Kensal to Kilburn community project ideas

Transition Town Kensal to Kilburn (TTKK) is inviting local residents to take part in a competition this spring.

Our volunteer organisation has created three grants - one £500 grant and two £250 grants.

To enter the competition, participants need to fulfill the following criteria :

- live in the Kensal to Kilburn area,

- submit an idea for a community project that would benefit residents…

Foraging in Kilburn - Going ahead despite the rain at Paddington Old Cemetery, NW6 7SD

March 26, 2023 from 2:30pm to 4pm
Going ahead despite the rain - bring waterproof footwear as it will be very wet and muddy! Pick and eat a fresh salad growing wild in Kilburn. We’ll do a short group walk to identify and talk about as many edible weeds, particularly leaves, as we can find - from dandelion to garlic mustard, cow parsley to ground elder.  We’ll end having an outside picnic with our tasty freshly picked salad. Please don't publicise this event as it is always over-subscribed with Transition Town and Fruit…See More
