Chickweed bonanza

[Transition Kensal to Kilburn]

We weeded the prolific and ubiquitous chickweed this Sunday. Correction - we harvested the delicious and nutritious chickweed, 2 carrier bags worth and shared it out. Most travelled West to the fruit harvesting group annual social, where it went well with baked potatoes and fillings as both a salad and a sauteed side dish like spinach. We made some converts to chickweed. 

A fantastic 5 of us did the harvesting so we finished early after talking about underground rivers and sewers, on which 2 of us are experts.
