There was a piece in the July London Transition newsletter about the 2 day training course I'm organising for (mostly) London Transition groups.
It will cover…effective meetings; collaborative communication; group purpose; roles and tasks; conflict management; power, decision-making and leadership; and looking after ourselves and eachother.
The trainer is Nick Osbourne who some of you might have come across as he faciliated part of this year's Transition Conference, or you might have done the 2 day Transition training with him. The fee should work out around £30-£40 each if about 20 of us share it, less if we can get a free or v cheap centralish venue. I've been at a few of Nick's trainings on effective groups and think they're great, most recently at the Transition conference a few weeks back and in May with 18 Transition people from 5 groups in the Thames Valley.
At the moment, looks likely we're going with the 3rd and 4th of Sep. So far 10 people have said they can definitely make it. Will confirm once we get another 10.
Let me know asap if you'd like to join us. If you can't make those dates, drop me a line and when enough people are interested I'll organise another.
(For anyone who hasn't yet done the 2 day Transition training, or know's people who might be interested, just a reminder that the next one's in London on the weekend of Sep 17th/18th http://www.transitionnetwork.org/support/training/training-transition.)
Get back to me if you have any questions,
All the best,
