Event Description

Come join the West London Waste team during Real Nappy Week 2017 at Kilburn Library.

They’ll be on hand to answer any questions you may have about washable nappies. They’ll also have their washable nappy pack available for you to have a look at.

Did you know West London Waste has six free nappy packs to lend to West London parents for a three week period? The packs come with a variety of cloth nappies, as well as all the accessories you’ll need to start using cloth nappies.

Why use cloth nappies? (From Real Nappy Week website)

  • By using Cloth Nappies, families could save anywhere from £100 – £1000 and the more children they have in cloth, the bigger the saving!
  • And don’t forget the cost to our environment. By choosing cloth over single use nappies, families could make up to a 40% carbon saving.
  • Currently UK families send 355,000 tons of single use nappies to landfill each year, costing Local Authorities (and tax payers) £32 million a year. This has to change!

If you have any questions please email info@westlononwaste.gov.uk or call 020 8825 9468.
