Kidical mass at Roundwood park, NW10

Come to Roundwood park in NW10 on Sunday at 11.30am for a family ride and be part of a worldwide movement called Kidical mass asking for safe space on the roads for children. As part of #PlasticFreeJuly I'm organising a zero waste picnic. No single use plastic cutlery, no paper plates, no crisps bags. Come, meet fellow plastic waste warriors in your neighbourhood and swap clothes (clean clothes in good condition that you would happily give to a friend).Reducing single plastic waste is absolutely necessary to reduce oil extraction, CO2 emissions and pollution. Sometimes knowing that you can cook something without too much hassle is not enough for you to try it, even when you are quite curious to try new plant-based food. I’ve been meaning for quite a few weeks now to cook with nettles, for example. But, without the intervention of Kensal to Kiburn harvesters, I would still look at the urtica diodica specimen in my garden with suspicion.

It would be madness to install a wood fire or pellet boiler in an urban area, and should be made illegal.
