This is part of the Grand Designs 'Great British Refurb' project. 60 homes around the country have been declared 'Super Homes' after these old houses have been refurbished to lower their carbon footprint by 60% or more. There is an open day this Sunday 28th March, when many of these houses will be open to the public and the owners will tell visitors about the work they have done, the costs, the benefits and the pit falls.
