Transition Kensal to Kilburn

Welcome to Transition Kensal to Kilburn

Our aim is to empower our community to start thinking positively and creatively about the twin challenges that face us: peak oil, and climate change. Today, dwindling fossil fuel supplies, costly energy, and serious threats to our wildlife and our sustenance present us with the greatest challenges humanity has ever faced. But if we plan well, and harness the energies and genius of you, the community, we believe this could be the greatest opportunity for us all to lead more connected, abundant and fulfilled lives.

TT KtoK is part of the wider Transition Network which started in Totnes, Devon, and is spreading like wildfire around the world. There are several ways you can get involved in creating this low-carbon, environmentally-friendly collective vision. It starts with conscious choices to get involved in what's going on around us. Come to our film and discussion events, use the website, where you can learn more about the challenges that face us and the solutions that are already out there; join the project groups and keep an eye out for events that interest you. From gardeners to busy mums, from cooks to communications professionals, everyone has a say - and a stake - in re-designing Kensal to Kilburn as a Transition Town. Be part of the solution: get involved.
