Babyhood - film

 This project was born out of my experiences of having my first child, and how much it made me question myself and everything i thought was normal. I couldn't help but be drawn to reading books looking at parenting practices, and deciphering them was hard. The Threat:The Government has announced a “Review of statutory duties”, aimed at identifying and removing duties from local authorities which are a “burden”. One of the duties they are considering removing is the duty to provide sufficient number of allotments for people in the area who want one. Community Allotment by Queens Park Cafe

We have a community allotment in Queens Park (behind the Cafe in the park).  Two new raised beds were built at the end of 2010, and we have a herb spiral and lots of other things growing.  Shared space to learn and grow.  Tools and gloves provided.  Capital Growth space 1084.
