Plastic bag ban for Kilburn?

I find myself increasingly annoyed at being offered plastic bags by every single shop assistant - in fact it's not 'every' shop assistant, but it is most.



Sainsbury's on Kilburn High Road have taken away their bag recycling spot and since they claim they can't leave boxes for use it's all gone a bit silly.

URGENT - Save Kensal Rise from becoming a bus depot!

We have only one week to pull together and fight what will ruin the top of Kensal Rise. We need your support to preserve our thriving community and not turn it into a giant bus depot!

Food Inc at Lexi Cinema

This sounds like a great film. It would be good to drum up some publicity for the film. And to do something positive to get people engaging with the food group while they are thinking about what they eat. Anyone want to work with me on this? Or is anyone doing something I can help with?? We could do a leaflet about food group plans (are they any??) Maybe we could have a quick food group meeting to jot some ideas down.
