Gosh - this looks amazing! Is this the result of the 'Capital Growth' grant?

Looks exciting, Miko. Trying to work out whether the edging privet around the triangle bed is going as well?

The keyhole bed is good for access to the plants from all sides. Will a single part of the keyhole accommodate, say a runner bean wigwam? If not, it may be better to have fewer but larger sections ...

Have you thought about the space around the keyhold bed? If it's going to be walked on a lot, it needs to be something other than earth (?wood chip). Very impressed by the techie skills putting all this on the website! Will be there to help as much as I can when it gets underway.              Maggie

Hi George - yes all very exciting,  and yes the new plantings will be funded through the £450 Capital Growth grant.

The extra space and removal of privet is due to Mick Geurin / Richard Gentry / Queens Park / City of London enthusiasm, participation and willingness for the project to grow and involve more of the local community!

Hi Maggie - haven't discussed the smaller edging privet - I think it's quite nice, what do you think?

Yes the keyhole bed I thought might be a good idea as is good use of non rectangular space, I agree wood chip would be good, maybe even have some reclaimed scaffold boards to mark the path areas?

Spring (a tad early!) is in the air :)

Hi Mico,  Are we going digging this weekend as planned?  Fri. and Sun. are sunny.  Sat. and Mon. rain.  Also splitting up the 2 existing raised beds into 4, will not exactly fit into your plans, will it?   -  Bye,   Pearl
