I cant come tonight but I have had an idea about a workshop for the harvest festival. It's really a food idea, about eating Nuts as a substitute for high carbon meat and dairy.
We could have a Nuts stall and there could be tasters of walnut pancakes, prepared earlier. On the stall could be examples of ways to cook with nuts eg walnut pesto, ground almond korma, hazelnut loaf, almond pasta sauce ...
There could also be a recipe wall where people could post up their favourite nut recipes, with pencil and paper for people to copy down any they fancy. What do you think? Maybe someone (Michael?) could help me with this?
