Please join us at our post-Solstice (definitely not Winter) quarterly meeting for members of Transition Town Kensal to Kilburn, your friends and neighbours.
This time we have an opportunity to take a look inside another interesting local venue and community project. This is a Meanwhile Space, meaning that it's temporary, so we hope you take advantage of this opportunity to visit the space, but also to share some food and socialise and perhaps meet some new people in this exciting space.
If that's not enough to tempt you, there will be updates from various members about local projects that have happened or started since our last meeting in November. There's been quite a bit, from the food and film evening to the newly activated Stitch Group.
We're also looking into ways of spending our funding in a Community Chest way, so if you know of projects that would benefit, please come along and tell us about them.
If you can bring a small amount of food to share that would be lovely.
Look forward to seeing you all there!

Hi Caroline,
There are no regular meetings at QP allotment at present. Also, Sanchia is not directly involved in that project. (She and Michael are the Kilburn Tube Station planters.) I'm happy to meet you at the allotment to help you choose a space and get started. I am in Exeter today and Saturday but could come up on Sunday, either at around 10.30 or around 3.30. Will you let me know if you'd like to meet me there and at what time?
Sincerely sorry I can't make this Sanchia. I'm afraid I have a long-standing arrangement for tomorrow evening. Re Queens Park Allotment, I'm still involved and keen that we should be able to hold on to the site. I've been posting on the QP group site saying what I've been doing and inviting people to come forward and nominate themselves to take on a small area that they take responsibility for planting, watering and weeding for the 2014 season. A couple of responses but not many...
I know the people who run CCs on Lonsdale Road and they would be very happy for me to put a leaflet in there saying that there are mini-plots available and inviting people to express an interest - either by emailing me or by posting on the QP group site.
Can you put this on tomorrow's agenda and let me know whether there is approval for the idea? Obviously I won't advertise for new people in this way unless others think it is a good idea. All best to you and hope the meeting goes well. Maggie
