We run fun, free community e-repair pop-ups, lasting three hours, where volunteers experienced in repairing electronics help others learn to maintain and or fix their broken or slow electrical and electronic gadgets such as phones, laptops, blenders, hoovers and radios.

Repair should be more accessible and affordable; product standards should be adopted making products better supported, well documented and easier to repair by design.

Restart is looking to expand the London Repair Directory which includes businesses with at least 10 online reviews (minimum average score of 4 out of 5 stars), provide a physical address and give warranties on their repairs. We ask UK legislators and decision-makers at all levels, as well as product manufacturers and designers, to stand with us for our Right to Repair, by making repair more accessible and affordable, and ensuring that we adopt product standards making products better supported, well documented and easier to repair by design.
