We're getting organised and excited now planning our first Harvest Festival. The action all takes place at Salusbury Primary School - we will be hosting the event together with Friends of Salusbury. The daytime festival is free and open to all.
From 12 -4 there will be loads of events covering everything from cooking workshops (learn to make jam, bread and vegetable musical instruments), articistic workshops, cycle training, story telling and much more...
Please bring with you...:
Bikes - if you would like to learn safe cycling - great activity for kids
Vegetables you have grown - for our display and to add to the pot for supper
Clothes/ Seeds/ Jams or Pickles - to swap in the great swish...

Hi Elizabeth, let me know where the allotment is and we'll add it to the list of available land for growing food as a sharing space. Michael.Stuart6@gmail.com

Will be attending...I will bring some rainbow chard and whatever hasn't been eaten by slugs in my allotment..which by the way, is too big for me to manage so I was hoping to find someone on here who would like to share it with me..send me a message if interested...

Sadly, I can not attend as I shall be away, but those organising might just possibly be interested in attending the Kew Horticultural Society's 66th Summer Show on Kew Green 0n Saturday 28 August for ideas. It is desperately easy to get to on the Overground from Kensal Rise and is totally traditional. Examples of entry classes are "Beans French, 9, green with stalks", "One glass jar of home made chutney any kind", "A picture made from edible materials" etc. etc - total of 119 classes.
