I'm back next Wednesday but still can't be there before 2.00 myself because of work commitments in the morning. Am happy to hand over if someone else with knowledge can regularly be there at the earlier time and if that would suit people better. Archie? Miko? Can you post a comment yes or no so that we can sort it out and people don't make a wasted journey, as Shiva did last Wednesday?

Saturdays are easier - I can make any time. 12.30 seems to be suiting people so suggest we leave it there - but open to other suggestions.

Am looking forward to seeing what has grown. All best, Maggie

We put in some onions, pumpkins, herbs and to attract pollinators, some mixed flowers!

I will be there 1230 sat.

Really sorry if the timings have got confusing... I think that the meetings are now 11am on Wednesdays and 1230 on Saturdays.

I've put events on the website for Saturday and next Wednesday.  I know Maggie is still away... I believe that Archie will be there next Wednesday, Miko, will you be around on Saturday?

George

Fantastic Miko! Queens Park have allocated the triangular bed to Living Medicine but I have said to Richard Gentry (Park Manager) that we want to put bean wigwams in there too and Archie has some artichoke plants we thinking of putting in there as well. Richard thinks this will be OK. I have the bamboo cane's already and beans in my greenhouse (think you have some as well?) so we can get on with that when I'm back. Better not use the rest of that bed for the moment, though I'll continue to negotiate to use if if Living Medicine don't come through.

What did you plant in the second bed? Can you post another comment on the website and say what the crops are for people who weren't there?

All best, Maggie

It was a great day today, we put more veg in (and herbs), filling up most of the second bed.  We also felt justified in putting down a bunch of mixed flower seeds and some a couple of bulbs as this will attract lots of beneficial insects to pollinate our food :)

The little workers were well rewarded for the hard work they put in with cooling ice-cream and playground time afterwards.

Looking forward to next week!

Anyone know about the other plot behind the hedge?  Is this marked out to be a healing plant garden Maggie said?

Miko.

Ok - so just to be clear to everyone, I'll put Saturday's meet up as an event - should that be starting at 1120 when Miko said he'd be there, or starting at 1230?

I'll also put up an event for Wed 13th at 11am, but if I'm reading this right, not Wed 6th

Can someone confirm the timings to make sure I don't put the wrong thing up?

Thanks

George

Hi Natasha, I'm going to be away and I'm not sure whether anyone can cover the 6th. Archie will be there on Wednesday 13th and I will be back on the 20th, all at 11.00. Look forward to seeing you .... Maggie
