"I would be interested in a spoken word performance space here too. Perhaps this could be added to the list of possible uses? I'd be very happy to help with taking this forward, publicity programming etc"

Halloween Stories for Adults at Willesden Library Centre

October 27, 2016 from 6pm to 7:30pm
Samhain the ancient Celtic festival which falls at the same time as Halloween was seen as a liminal time, when the boundary between this world and the Otherworld could more easily be crossed. This meant the Aos Sí, the 'spirits' or 'fairies', could more easily come into our world. Come and celebrate this special time of the year with us and experience more than just' trick or treat'ing. We hope to offer you a drop of wonder, a shiver of the otherwordly. Come and join us!See More

We meet once a month to tell traditional stories; myths, fairy tales, legends, folk tales, in the traditional way, i.e in the oral tradition.  We tell stories rather than read them.We encourage everyone who comes to tell a story, but if you'd like to just come along and listen that's fine too.  No need to be an expert storyteller, everyone's welcome.See More

Storytelling Group

This is a storytelling circle, that is, a group in which everyone tells a story. It is for beginners and experienced storytellers and we focus on myths, legends, fairy and folk tales. It is a way of learning more about different cultures, developing storytelling skills reconnecting to our cultural rootsand hearing some cracking good tales. Listeners who just like traditional tales are also welcome. We meet on the second Thursday of the month from 7-9pmSee More

Free reusable timber, old Feather Edge Fence panels to give away in Dollis Hill

I have just renewed my fence.  The old one is sitting in my front garden and is there for anyone who needs a supply of timber for raised beds etc. Some of it has rotted but much is still useful.  If you'd like it please just come and take it from my garden at 35 Fleetwood Road NW10See More
