On a more positive note, have you seen the wonderful orange net shopping bags made from onion sacks by Costa's mother and on sale in the Olive Tree Health Food Shop on Willesden Lane? Stylish, practical, making use of a product which would otherwise be thrown away and cost £1! What's not to like?
