Let's SOP! (Save on Plastic)

Let's make Kensal Rise / Kensal Green free of plastic. For example, do you need THAT plastic bag to carry THAT milk bottle from the corner shop to your home? Say "no" to plastic bags from local shopkeepers and tell them you SOP!

Did you see this in the Guardian last month?  Plastic bag use in the UK increasing- read

On a more positive note, have you seen the wonderful orange net shopping bags made from onion sacks by Costa's mother and on sale in the Olive Tree Health Food Shop on Willesden Lane?  Stylish, practical, making use of a product which would otherwise be thrown away and cost £1!  What's not to like?
