Hello Kirsty,

I know what happens with the potatoes. I saw them a few times before and on sunday I decided to plant them on the same bed they were, in a potato row gap.

It might not be the best execution as I dig the whole with my bare hands....but there it goes, the mystery of the walking potatoes is resolved!!

Saw it there just before I went to Glasgpw, Kirsty. No idea what’s become of it. You could try asking a park keeper if there’s one in the hut. They are mostly friendly and take an interest. Maggie

Hey! I had a bag of potatoes in a bag by my plot on the little wooden board that separates the plots. I just went down there now and it's gone :( Has anyone seen it? It had lots of green growth so I wouldn't have thought it got mistaken for an empty bag....

Thanks a lot Kim. Yes it’s the kale one a do the long thin bit next to it along the fence. Plus the two shared high beds... x

Thanks Maggie, more than happy to help water yours when I'm doing mins, I'm sure we can all pitch in. However I'm not that confident knowing exactly which ones are yours and where they are - is it the one with the kale only, or do you have another?

Also... I'm going to Glasgow in a few days and will be there until the beginning of June. Can someone keep an eye on my beds, please, and the shared beds, and water my plots if it gets dry. (Not looking too likely at the moment!)   Thanks, Maggie

Hi everyone!

I finished planting up the two shared double height beds today. (The spring onion seeds etc that someone had planted didn't germinate, I'm afraid, due no doubt to the very cold spring weather.)

In there now:

rhubarb

blackcurrants

parsley

oregano

sweet corn

runner beans

french beans (seeds planted)

lettuce (seeds planted)

coriander (seeds planted)

broccoli (plug plants)

They are all for everybody to share. Please don't plant anything else there now. The beds are full...   Maggie

Maggie I'm so sorry but something has come up and I can't help Sunday anymore. However if it's quite a lot, Monday is a bank holiday so I will be free then, if that helps?

Hello, I’m afraid I’m hiking Snowdonia this weekend so I won’t be around.
