I am away for the next three meetings, Sat 21, Wed 25, Sat 28, and also on Sat 11 June.

Miko will definitely be around this Saturday, 21st, 12.30. After that, please post on the website if you can run one of the sessions I'm missing and please check on the website to whether the allotment meeting is happening on a particular day. I leave it in your hands ...

Update and tasks:

Triangle bed is starting to look good. We put down a path today so no more need to walk on the soil and compact it, and no danger of treading on plants. The bed needs regular watering. Mara may be returning to the project and planting some healing herbs.

Left hand raised bed (facing hedge) is fully planted. Needs regular watering. Remember to bring a bag and take some mixed salad home with you - lettuce, mizuna and rocket. There is plenty for everyone.

Right half of right hand raised bed needs clearing and soil turning over again. Apart from the flowers (sunflowers Miko?) everything there is weeds. Once that's done, it can be planted again with rows of seeds - Bring along and sow whatever takes your fancy.

Enjoy gardening while I'm away, everyone!. I look forward to seeing you again on Wednesday 1st June and Saturday 4th June.

Greetings to Mark! Today (Wednesday) we had two new Wednesday members, Brigitte and Julienne.

Some girls passing by from the Islamia school on their way to play tennis told us they were so inspired by the raised beds that they are organising to have some at their school and to start growing vegetables. So, good work everybody!

Hi Louise! Look forward to meeting you a week from Wednesday.

Hi Richard! Yes, you're welcome to take pictures whenever you like. Thanks for the news about the water butt. I've sent you a draft of the new allotment information poster and look forward to your comments.

Great thanks, I've made a note in my diary to pop over on the 18th.  Look forward to meeting you all then.

Best thing to do would be to come to one of the regular QP allotment gardening club meet-ups: every wednesday at 2pm and saturday at 1230 at the allotment behind the cafe in queens park.

Re: Georges comment - that's great thanks! I have some meetings booked in on this Wednesday afternoon so can't do this time; I'll keep an eye on future dates then pop over to have a chat, hopefully following this I'll be able to bring a few extra hands.
